So Another Attack At MQM`s Bloodline?

Definitely, it was a shocking news for MQM`s supporters of taking their beloved leader Altaf Hussain in the custody by the Scot Land Yard. But, hardly anyone would accept that it was an un-expected news for Pakistani media. Almost all the TV channels as well as the newspapers had previously been reporting in the same direction. Even some of them already asserted with surely that the on-going investigations would end at the arrest of MQM`s founder. How did they already come to know about the future outcome of the investigation, is the question whose answer can reveal the real story behind what MQM is facing right now.

It is very important to notice that the Pakistani TV channels broke the news of the arrest of Mr. Altaf Hussain when the Scot Land Yard/MET personnel were in the process of searching the house and MQM`s Quaid was there too. According to MQM representatives, the SLY personnel told them that they wanted to have an interview with Altaf Hussain as a part of their investigation. That was the reason why MQM, in the beginning, was denying the news of arrest. The question is, if such an act had to take place, how did the Pakistani media come to know about the intention of SLY even before it officially declared it? Had someone from the SLY leaked the information to the media, or all that had already been planned and communicated to the “concerned” people and institutions?

ruly speaking, it is not the first time at all. Rather, it has been observed very often that the Pakistani as well as a segment of foreign media have been reporting such “revelations” of the on-going investigations in UK in advance that even the SLY`s investigators could not comment on.  Most important example in this respect is of the stories about two Pakistanis believed to be having some connection with Dr. Imran Farooq murder. It was 2011 when the media first introduced the “news” of the arrest of two Pakistani who, as per their claim, left London immediately after the murder of MQM`s convener and were arrested by the Pakistani agencies from the runway of Karachi airport.

Interestingly, neither the Pakistani authorities nor the SLY/MET police could confirm if such stories were true or not. However, after over two and half years, SLY issued the images of the same suspects believing that they might be having some connection in the murder case. Surprisingly, what the SLY mentioned so late was very less than what had already been published and aired about Kashif and Mohsin especially by the Pakistani media. Secondly, the SLY`s statement did not answer if the suspects had really been arrested by any of Pakistani agencies and whether they were still in its custody as the Pakistani channels and BBC2 had already claimed.

After considering the SLY`s official statement, what the question arises is, was the media reporting SLY`s investigation outcomes to the people, or the SLY has quoted the media reports as its investigation report? Or perhaps, all is taking place according to a planned conspiracy against MQM and its leadership?

Ever since Dr. Imran Farooq was very suspiciously murdered in London on the same day when MQM celebrates its founder`s birthday, Pakistani anchorpersons and political analysts have been very confidently predicting that the investigations would eventually lead to MQM`s leader Altaf Hussain. Logically, when an impartial investigator cannot so surely make a statement especially in the beginning about whom his investigation would lead, then how can the Pakistani anchorpersons or analysts do so unless they have been informed about the already fixed target of an investigation?

To tell the truth, unlike the professional and impartial journalists of a civilized society, Pakistani analysts do not give their analysis or predictions about any political developments merely on the basis of their professional or practical experiences, but mainly on the basis of their own “well-informed”, “reliable” or, “inside” sources. This is what they openly accept and refer to while making any claims with surety. Needless to mention that whoever has the closest link to the Pakistani establishment is considered to be giving an exact “analysis” or “news”. This bitter reality clearly exposes why the Pakistani media-men, from the beginning, had been so confident while uttering “noose of the investigation is getting tightened around the neck of Altaf Hussain”. These words were definitely more than just an analysis. The raid at Altaf Hussain`s house endorsed the same.

Anyway, all the anti-MQM elements especially the ones operating from Pakistan must keep this in their minds that Altaf Hussain is not an ordinary leader produced and introduced in the Pakistani politics from any Ordnance factory of the Pakistani establishment. Rather, he is the only leader of middle and lower middle class people who has been targeted by the Pakistani evil forces ever since he founded MQM for the oppressed people. Yet, with the grace of God, he has successfully passed through all. This time too, Insha Allah, he will turn out to be the victorious in the very suspiciously imposed situation.

Similarly, whether it is SLY or London Police, is supposed to prove that the money which is being considered as a result of money laundering, was definitely the proceeds of any criminal activity. On other hand, if MQM`s leader is charged just because of keeping money at his home or perhaps due to not getting MQM registered in UK as a political party, this will not be welcome by the people at all.
