MQM_____The Magnet Of Truth!

 

It is an open secret that ever since MQM came in the Pakistani politics, it has been made the target by all the powerful forces of Pakistan which have been ruling over the country for decades.  The establishment and its allied forces first leveled severe allegations on MQM and its founder Altaf Hussain, and then launched operations against them that resulted in the loss of thousands of their workers and voters. Even, at present, the victimization of MQM is on its peak. The question is why do the rulers target MQM again and again?

To tell the truth, in the decades` prevailing politics of the establishment, Mr. Altaf Hussian lit a candle of truth by forming APMSO and then MQM purely based on the common people. Unlike the cases in which some landlords and industrialists get together in a luxurious drawing room of a bungalow and announce to form a new party, MQM was given birth by a students` party (APMSO) that itself was founded by the middle and lower middle class students in the lawn of University of Karachi. Although there are hundreds of universities in Pakistan having lawns like of IBA, no student party has yet given birth to a political party which is based on the common people and has gained popularity like MQM. 

Customarily, our political leadership appeals to the common people to trust them especially in the elections, but they themselves lose all the confidence on their own middle and poor class workers when it is the time of issuing election tickets or awarding government portfolios. They prefer themselves and other “big names” of the politics. But, in contrast to it, Altaf Hussain already left himself out of this list in order to give priority to his works and voters. Not a single other leader or party has displayed such a courage to rely on its own middle class people the way Alatf Hussain and MQM have.

MQM is not only called a party of the masses, but it has practically proved itself to be. MQM leadership made its elected parliamentarians serve people in the best way. Consequently, MQM`s elected members performed tremendously. Of the most vocal public representatives in the Assemblies and the Senate have been the MQM members. MQM`s MNA Kh. Sohail Mansoor was declared the highest tax paying person in Pakistan; the development of Karachi and Hyderabad were the true reflection of the outstanding performances of MQM`s councilors and Nazims. Consequently, the former City Nazim Karachi, Syed Mustafa Kamal was declared as one of the best three mayors of the world. MQM’s representatives have turned out to be the most educated, well mannered and presentable spokespersons on Media.

Similarly, the way Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad served the people of Sindh has made him the most prominent among all the governors in the country. On top of it, his day & night efforts for the release of the Pakistani sailors from the hostage of the Somali pirates are an unforgettable part of the history of Pakistan that left a very pleasant impression of the country on the world. Can any other party claim to have the members who have served the people and the country with so much devotion and sincerity? No, not at all! All the credit definitely goes to Mr. Altaf Hussain who made the low, rather, no-profile common people to realize that they can really do wonders for the people and country if opportunities are given to them.

However, all these unmatched and revolutionary aspects of MQM were considered as its severe “crimes” in the country. As a result, MQM was tried to be painted as “taboo” for the people. Countless nastily fabricated allegations were leveled on it and all the state machinery was utilized to not only to malign, but also to crush it so that the majority of the deprived people could be kept away. But, despite the fact that no one came up to help MQM during the period of state-run operations, it not only survived, but also started expanding all over the country. Now, it has its political presence all over the country. Altaf Hussain, despite being thousands of miles away from Pakistan, he is the first person who raises his voice against any oppression on the common people pertaining to any part of the country.

Although the biased political analysts and media-men try to find out hundreds of loop holes in MQM that, according to them, will soon risk its future, but none of them has yet recognized its distinct quality that not only has always made it survive in the worst times of its political life, but also increased its polarity in the country despite their negative speculations about it. That quality is its sincerity which has turned MQM into a magnet of truth in the Pakistani politics and that is the reason why common people are clinging to it day by day rejecting the negative propaganda.

Once again MQM`s enemies are busy in their evil conspiracies to crush it under the cover of targeted operations. In fact, they are just repeating their previous mistakes. They are completely ignoring the fact that whoever tried to play an evil game against MQM, eventually got defeated and became the part of the history. This is exactly what the MQM`s 30-year-long history proves. So, let`s see again how the viciously planned game of the establishment fails and how it turns into MQM`s favor in the days to come. Let`s see!
