The history of the Pakistani politics indicates that it has never been difficult to form any political party and/or alliance. What are needed for this purpose are at least one or a few big names, the helpful political scenario and a lavish drawing room. When these things match each other, any new political party can emerge on the political scenario to lead the millions of people of the country.
Logically, can the “leaders” and their parties, being introduced by the feudal or elite class from the luxury drawing rooms, have the realization of the problems being faced by the poor people? Can they feel the same pain of the problems which they do not come across ever? No. Of course not! That is the complete disconnect between the ruling and the poor classes in the country. That is the most important reason why the common people eventually have to come out on the roads for calling the “leaders`” attention to their problems through the protests.
Then, why don`t the middle and lower middle class people take out the honest and sincere leadership from themselves? How long will they keep testing the elite class which has no similarity with them? Can these common people not form their own political party by sitting together in the yard of a small house, on the basement in the street, or in a hotel of a village or goth?
It is fact that when it is the beginning to do anything, it looks to be very difficult. But, if there is an example available, it gives a lot of encouragement to the people aiming at it. So, considering the already set example of APMSO, does it not become practicable to form a political party by the middle and lower middle people for themselves? Does this dream not seem to be coming true for the educated and sensible people of the deprived class to reach in the assemblies and to make legislation for the benefit of every common person living in this country?
In the decade’s long prevailing political scenario of Pakistan, it can be termed as a miracle that just a few middle and lower middle students led by a 24-year old young man Mr. Altaf Hussain got together in the lawn of a state-owned university and formed a student organization, APMSO to solve their problems. But, it was just the beginning of a long journey. The poor class-made student`s organization was transformed into a political party commonly known as MQM. It was the only example in the political history of the country that a student organization was giving birth to a big political party. Otherwise, as per the prevailing practices, the trend is altogether opposite.
MQM not only clamed to send the middle and lower middle class people to the assemblies, but it also practically proved this. Whether these were Local bodies, Provincial & National Assemblies or the Senate, MQM was represented by its middle and lower middle class members. This was the reflection of its philosophy of Realism and Practicalism.
By observing the performance of the MQM`s Councilors, MPA`s, MPA`s and the Senators, the common people started feeling content that it was the real leadership and the elected representatives they had always wanted. Moreover, whatever was remaining in this respect, was accomplished by the MQM`s ex-City Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal. The way he served the people of the city, was not only appreciated, but was also recognized all over the world. He was declared one of the three best mayors of the world. Mustafa Kamal gives all the credit to his party and the leadership who not only gave a middle class telephone operator to serve the people, but also fully helped him to make this wonder take place.
The question rises at this point is, when Karachi, as Mini Pakistani, can be accepted as one of the most rapidly developing cities of the world due to the efforts of the middle and lower middle class elected representatives, then why can`t this happen in the rest of the cities of country? Is Mustafa Kamal found only in Karachi? Is there no other person like him in the rest of Pakistan? No, it is not true at all! There would be countless Mustafa Kamals in every province and city. Rather, we can find far better people than him even on the union council level. But, the drawback is that these untested Mustafa Kamals have not been given the opportunity to serve their areas, cities, provinces and the country. Otherwise, the situation would be altogether different.
Therefore, the people of the country would have to seriously consider the worsening situation of the country both domestically and internationally. They would have to realize now that only the honest and educated middle and lower middle class people can put the country on the right track. Now, there should be no more wolves representing the sheep. They would have to urge all the political leadership to give chances to their workers pertaining to the lower class. They should require all the leaders to leave themselves out of the electoral race like MQM`s Chief ,Mr.Altaf Hussain so that the people from the lower class can reach in the assemblies in order to solve their long pending problems.
However, if these, so called, leaders and their parties do not do so, the common people will have to come up to form their own party by take out the leadership from themselves. In this respect, they should not be disappointed at all. When some university students can form well-discipline and organized student and political parties, i.e., APMSO and MQM, then why can`t the students of other universities and colleges get together to make another wonder take place in the same way?
Yes, they can do it! They can really make it as they belong to the middle and lower middle class that has the sincerity, honesty and the dedication for the country. When Pakistan can be made to come into existence with the support and unforgettable sacrifices of this class, why can`t it be run by the same people? MQM has set a model by implementing its philosophy, and now it is the turn of the majority of the deprived class. They will have to do it; they can do it. But when, let`s see.
Yes They Can Do it ! They've got the ability to change the Feudal System in fact actual meaning of Technocrat has been actually introduce by MQM in Pakistan, A Billion Dollar Question When? ...... Meaning another way of extra judicial killing of the commoner by the Law & Enforcement Agencies or Simply who are here to protect this orthodox political system and MQM is the Only party where they've found ways to fix up the system while in a system .... Hats Off to MQM and their Leadership ...
